Blister-packaging medication is helpful for patients who have trouble remembering to take their medication. It is also a requirement in many assisted living facilities and nursing homes. In order to best serve you, we have many different packaging options. Medication can be packaged into a monthly card (containing 30 or 31 bubbles). For patients who take several medications at multiple times throughout the day, we have other options. One is a weekly pack. This pack contains rows labeled Sunday through Saturday, and columns labeled Morning, Noon, Evening, and Bedtime. If you take five medications every morning, one medication at noon, and nine medications at bedtime, each morning slot would have the appropriate five medications, the noon slot of each day would have one medication, and the bedtime slot would contain your nine bedtime medications. If you take one medication only on one particular day of the week, we can easily put that medication in the appropriate slot. Another option for patients with many medications is to have a card for each time of day that you take medication. If you take medicine twice daily, you would have two packs per month. One pack would have 30 or 31 bubbles, each bubble containing all of your morning medications. The other pack would have 30 or 31 bubbles, each containing your evening medications. Blister-packing medication is a free service that we provide to our customers. If you do not purchase your medication at Wynn's Pharmacy, we can still blister pack it for you for a small fee.
